Education: Bachelors of Arts in Music, (Composition) California State University East Bay. He has studied Clarinet with William Wohlmacher & Diane Maltester, Composition with Dr. Rafael Hernandez & Dr. Frank La Rocca. He has played in CSUEB Jazz Ensembles led by Dave Eshelman & Johannes Wallman, Wind Ensembles led by Professor Tim Smith & Professor Wesley Broadnax. Cato is currently pursuing his Masters Degree at the American Band College of Sam Houston University.
